Small Stuff

Description: In Small Stuff, ARASH, talks to his friend about focusing less on the external of someone and a bit more on the internal.

ARASH: I hate it when girls are constantly worried about their looks, they come off as so unattractive. I’ve been attracted to girls who are so focused on a passion of theirs that looks aren’t anywhere near the forefront of their minds, they are far from what most would call as pretty. But to me, I would think them stunning.

You have to listen to me, my gf Amilia and I know how the dating game goes…if you are simply focused on looking like a gang banger, the only girls you are going to attract are shallow and boring with very little to give you or the world. I’m not saying you look like a Gang banger, okay? I’m just trying to make a point.

Let me ask you, remember that girl Charlotte that you liked over the summer? She was nothing like the girls you would normally think of dating but damn, all summer you were crazy about her and if it didn’t turn out that she was married then you would have dated that girl!  She was heavy set too and that’s also what attracted you to her, you even said you liked that she wasn’t so delicate looking.

What I’m trying to say is that she was passionate, loving, wild…I also thought she was hot.  There was something different about her.

It’s all good to worry about your looks but focus on what drives you, focus on your mind, then you’ll attract the kind of girls you want to be with, not just for a fling but for an actual relationship.

I’m not coming down on you, I just think you are getting a little bit too worried about the wrong stuff, like who really cares whether your hair is out of place or if your jeans are getting tight? I don’t wanna talk about that shit anymore, you know, it’s boring. Lets talk about the plans we are making for ourselves cause we have a future we gotta build upon and you’re way too talented to care so much about the small stuff.
