The Mysterious Knife

The deprived, coastal town of Los Angeles holds a secret.

Arash Eliss has the perfect life working as a private detective in the city and drinking with his caring girlfriend, Catherine Ramsbottom.

However, when he finds a Mysterious knife in his cellar, he begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the Eliss family.

A carol service leaves Arash with some startling questions about his past, and he sets off to sunny Los Angeles to find some answers.

At first the people of Los Angeles are incredible and considerate. He is intrigued by the curiously delightful psychiatrist, Maud Noland. However, after she introduces him to good sex , Arash slowly finds himself drawn into a web of theft, jealousy and perhaps, even violence.

Can Arash resist the charms of Maud Noland and uncover the secret of the Mysterious knife before it’s too late, or will his demise become yet another Los Angeles legend?

Arash has been writing stories ever since he could hold a pencil! What started out as an intrinsic love for storytelling has turned into his lifelong passion. There’s nothing he likes better than writing (and reading) stories that is humorous in English and Persian languages, with a touch of Suspense and a poignant streak of truth running through them. Arash is also a YouTuber, Persian singer/songwriter, blogger, traveler, filmmaker, big dreamer, and professional kabob eater. When he’s not writing or dreaming up new stories, you can find him in an adventure road-tripping to national parks! If you want to see Arash in his element (ranting about stories) check out his YouTube channel.
